In my book Grow This Church & Ministry, I stress Leadership And Prayers and that prayer is the lifeblood of a ministry leader. Leaders must effectively and fervently determine their course by clearing every nonsense in their heavens and their earth. Why? Without effectively clearing the mess in the spiritual atmosphere, opposition to their flow will be stopped. See what Amplified Bible James 5:16-18 says,
“Confess to one another, therefore, your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offences, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours]; and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months. And [then] he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].”
Leaders take stands and address the leadership, economic, and political atmosphere in the land from their knees and in any other capacity possible. Prevail in the place of prayer. Decree what you want to see. If there be a man to pray, there is a GOD to ANSWER. GOD had in time passed answered several prayers of HIS people in this land. And HE is still the same today. Connect to heaven, speak to the Spirit, and Change the course of things to make the organization or group you lead submit to, fear of GOD, justice, equity, and fairness. On the knees, you can get strategy, information, etc to lead effectively.
